Multidisciplinary BIM coordination across architecture, structures, MEP, façade, interiors, and landscape on Abu Dhabi's flagship cultural project — geometrically complex by design, technically uncompromising in delivery.
A landmark cultural project demanding the full coordination spectrum: complex geometry, design intent fidelity, and multi-package federation discipline.
Lead BIM coordination across all design packages on the Zayed National Museum — a 66,042 m² cultural landmark — bringing six core disciplines plus specialist steel and exhibition packages into a single federated model environment at LOD 350, from design development through to as-built handover.
We embedded coordination leadership directly within the project team, running weekly federated assemblies in Navisworks Manage, structured issue tracking with each discipline lead, and a tightly governed clash prioritisation workflow keyed to programme milestones.
Model governance was implemented through structured weekly audits, container-level integrity checks, and discipline-by-discipline LOD progression reviews. Information exchange was managed through a dedicated CDE configuration aligned with ISO 19650 status codes and suitability levels.
A clash-free federated model delivered through structured governance, with as-built coordinates systematically cross-checked and validated within the model environment. Approval workflows tightened progressively across the project lifecycle.
