Federated model management across LOD 100–350, clash detection, and MIDP alignment on a multi-plot mixed-use master development.
A multi-plot, multi-consultant programme — six disciplines federated across three sub-consultants — demanding scaled federation governance and disciplined information delivery.
Manage federated BIM coordination across multiple plots within the Creek Harbour master plan, progressing from LOD 100 through LOD 350, with full alignment to the Master Information Delivery Plan and consultant deliverable schedules.
We structured coordination by plot and by package, with synchronised federation cycles allowing cross-plot interface management without overwhelming individual consultant teams. Clash detection was tiered — discipline-internal first, then inter-discipline, then plot-to-plot — to keep prioritisation clean.
MIDP alignment was treated as a continuous discipline rather than a one-off submission. We mapped each information container against contractual milestones and ran fortnightly MIDP integrity reviews with consultant teams.
A reported clash reduction of approximately 80% across the coordination cycle, with substantially improved consultant deliverable consistency against the MIDP. Cross-plot interface issues identified earlier in the design programme.
